Songs of faith and devotion

I spent Holy Week earlier this year in Guatemala bathing in the faith of the devotees for whom this is an annual highlight over the period during which the processions and parades are carried out, culminating in Good Friday. I especially loved the Children Day's parade when the parents' love of and pride in their children carrying on these ancestral traditions was most strongly on display. I tried to isolate the individual stories among the larger processions to give a sense of personal context to these large-scale events.
