Women photographers exhibition 2016
Windows are openings that illuminate an angle or can flood a room with light. Along one's way to unknown and known locations, windows seemingly allow a glimpse inside. What if plants make the look inside impossible? What movie are we playing in our imagination from what just might be happening inside this room? Are we seeing a child brooding over its homework? A newly enamoured couple making love or is a wife being beaten by her husband? Does the exterior portend on to the inside or does it deflect from reality?
The images were taken on trips in various European and African cities. Repeatedly, a glimpse tries to catch a view into an unfamiliar room to learn how people live in it, love in it and dispute in it.
