From another point of view

In the series "From another point of view" I'm trying to make a deeper connection with my subconsciousness. Over the past three years I kept a notebook on my bedside table, and I would write down my dreams the moment I woke up. Some of the images in the series are a direct interpretation of my dreams. Others are interpretations of my 5 years old daughters imagination.

Freud said about photographs that they are mirrors of memory, the mind’s eye. I try to discover however my imagery is linked to my past, and I want to see if I better can understand myself by letting my subconscious mind create art.

During the making I realized that I was longing back to that beautiful, silent place; my childhood. And that making the series made me closer to the child within.
