BAROQUE DREAMS

"BAROQUE DREAMS" is a series based on my interpretation of Baroque painting, through photography.

It is an approach to the great masters of Baroque and his handling of light and chiaroscuro technique by which managed to ennoble scenarios and convey feelings.

Baroque art intended to evoke emotion and passion, is characterized by realism, rich, vivid colors and strong lights and shadows, often dramatize scenes using chiaroscuro lighting effects.

Color, light and movement are the elements that define the pictorial form. The light becomes a fundamental element in Baroque painting. The light draws or blurred contours, also defines the ambience, atmosphere, colors and nuances.

And from that approach, I figured this series, do not know if I succeeded, but I think I have quite come close to what he wanted to express.

This photograph is printed on canvas, and the final effect is a mixture, photography-painting such that the viewer has to approach to see if what is contemplated photograph or painting.
