Switzerland in a state of emergency
Today, March 16th, 2020, the Federal Council further tightened the measures to protect the population in an extraordinary meeting. He has now classified the situation in Switzerland as an “extraordinary situation” in accordance with the Epidemics Act. For a few days now I have been feeling changes in my everyday life. I should have gone abroad on March 15th, due to the circumstances the flight was canceled. Clients rarely get in touch; if I hear something it is to cancel or postpone orders - indefinitely. I still have a small amount of work left in the press area; due to current events mainly press conferences on the subject of coronavirus; a few days later - after the Federal Council has tightened the measures further - these are only possible to a limited extent. Switzerland is no exception, the world stands still. It will be switched to home office, except for the people at the front. The schools and daycare centers will remain closed until further notice. My girlfriend has to keep going to work. I'll take care of our daughter. The first few days I feel paralyzed - breakfast - walk - cooking - siesta - playing - walking - cooking. Over time, I get used to this new phase of life. I decide to document our everyday life in isolation.
