COVID-19 CRISIS
Like the Covid-19 pandemic and the state of alarm generated by this health crisis, we live in a small city in northern Spain (Santander) that has about 180,000 inhabitants
From the beginning of the year 2020 we began to hear about COVID-19 (coronavirus), although it sounded distant to us Europeans, it was Chinese, and it was not going to arrive.
But I arrive and in small cities like Santander in the north of Spain, whose region in total reaches half a million inhabitants, we had to get used to a state of alarm since March 14 and to live with masks, safety distances, mandatory confinement quarantine, new health standard, protest.
Our life has changed, we are close to 500 deaths from the virus and more than 30,000 patients have tested positive for the virus while we wait for the vaccine, although this "new normal" is here to stay with us.
