Covid-19 Italian medical staff Post Traumatic Stress Disorders

This photographic project aims to document the intimate experience of the Italian medical staff who operated in Covid-19 unit. The huge workload - physical and intellectual - and the enormous emotional burden caused by the daily contact with death, the forced confinement from the beloved ones and the uncertainties of the disease, it all made the medical staff suffer an high emotional stress. Showing the daily life of doctors, nurses and healthcare assistant, the project will give a glimpse on the chances of mental diseases and PTSD insurgency, and how the emotional impact of the pandemic it is confronted by those people.
