Lockdown Lights
The Lockdown Lights project is about the visualisation of absence and longing.
The photographs of the Lockdown Lights project were mainly taken during the lockdown periods from March 2020 to February 2021.
The photographs visualise the retreat into the domestic environment. They deal with light and shadow and with temporal changes. The light that falls from the outside into the inside receives special attention and significance during the lockdown. It becomes a substitute for so much that is missing during the pandemic time. Reflections, light and shadow become the only guests. Changes in the otherwise familiar and everyday surroundings are perceived as special.
The Lockdown Lights project is about the visualisation of absence and longing.
