The great silence

Streets, squares, stations, schools, people during the lockdown

March - April 2020, entrance of a tunnel at the end of which appeared that city that soon we would see different and surreal.
Deserted streets and squares, only a few unknown faces. All wrapped in silence, a great silence that would become the dramatic soundtrack of the days to come.
A city where the only voices were disturbing sirens premonitory of even sadder silences, a city with ever larger spaces, with an unusual and undoubted charm but without that heart left hanging in the sun of hope: "everything will be fine".
