Unlock my heart

"Unlock my heart" is a project about teens during covid lock-down

These photos belong to a project named "Unlock my heart", about teens, I started last year during the lockdown. Teens, above all, had to face a new solitude and put on hold their dreams and their natural sense for sociality. I photographed several teen girls on their home and in the room where they spent most of their time studying and socializing with friends through computers or mobile phones. They are excluded from decision and they are accused to be unruly and above all the cause of widespreading virus. During this pandemic time we have mostly heard politician talking about children, adult and elderly people but teens are no subject at all except for blaming their unruly behaviors.
