Alkekengi

I met Uta 19 years ago, when I joined her family. Knowing her it took time; it was beautiful and intimate even if sometimes painful.

She was born in Germany, in a village near the Black Forest and experienced the war when she was still a child.

Shy in life, she cultivated few relationships but loved art, painting and sculpture. She put in her paintings a liveliness and a sensitivity that she was only been able to reveal in this way.

Now she lives alone, surrounded by her paintings done during her life.

This work will be my memory of her.
